![]() ![]() I was tempted to try the LTS kernel but it is reccommended to use at least the 4.20 kernel with the Radeon VII. I'm fairly confident there are no issues with the card as I can play games on it all day long on Windows and when I had Ubuntu installed. I've tried several things ending with the same outcome: With all 3 monitors connected the system will boot and I get the CLI login, it is only once I try to start a GUI that problems arise. ![]() ![]() I had this setup more or less working on Ubunutu 18.04 but it wasn't perfect (motion seemed a bit laggy) though all 3 monitors worked fine, I did bump to the 4.20.17 kernel on that Ubuntu install. After logging into Gnome I can plug in a 2nd monitor and things seem to stay stable, but (turns out it is only sometimes stable aka not stable) if I plug in my 3rd then the driver seems to crash and the system eventually goes unresponsive. Hello, I recently installed Arch on my desktop, and am finding that I can only start gdm if I have one monitor connected. ![]()
